The Miami Heat put up eighty-six first-half points versus the Grizzlies

Miami Heat earned a decisive 146 to 114 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in their first basketball match after player Rozier was detained for suspected illegal gambling.

Addressing the detentions for the first time, league head Silver stated he was "very upset" by the incidents of the recent days.

"Nothing is more critical to the league and supporters than the fairness of the competition," he informed a broadcaster. "And so I had a pit in my stomach. It was disturbing."

"We were informed by the authorities and the betting companies," he continued.

"We investigated that situation and were very transparent about it. Although there was that aberrational betting, we, honestly, found no evidence.

"Federal authorities has legal authority... [it] can threaten to put people in jail, can do all kinds of things that the league office can't do.

"Therefore, we've been cooperating since then. And, of course, what they revealed recently was an indictment.

"Moreover two and a half years after, he still hasn't been convicted of anything, in justice to Rozier.

"Clearly, it doesn't look good, but he's been suspended, and so it is a balance here between upholding rights and conducting an inquiry."
